Adjunctive Pregnancy Care

Many complications of early pregnancy, and of the post-partum phase can be easily diagnosed and treated in the office.

Early Pregnancy Care, including ultrasound confirmation of pregnancy, first trimester screening for Down’s syndrome; support and care for miscarriage and ectopic (tubal) pregnancy. 

• Ultrasound
• 3D ultrasound in the second trimester
• 20 weeks screen for malformations
• 11 weeks nuchal translucency ultrasound screening for Down’s syndrome
• First trimester confirmation of pregnancy and diagnosis of failing pregnancies
• Post Partum care including routine post partum exams, evaluation, support, and treatment for post-partum depression; diagnosis and support of lactation problems.

I thank the women of Colorado and of the Roaring Fork Valley for allowing me to participate in your births. You have taught me as much as I have helped you, if not more. As of December 1, 2007, I will continue to offer pregnancy care up to twelve weeks gestation and postpartum care. However, as of December 1, 2007 I took a break from doing deliveries until my children have completed school.

I made this decision in loving anticipation of my children growing faster than I want them to. They have become young people in their own right and I wish to spend as much time with  them as possible before they begin to head off to college in a few years.

It is with conflicted emotion and deep sadness I have made this decision for being a part of the creation of your families has been a wonderful experience.
